BIOGRAPHY
Ralph Medrano Jr enters his 11th year as a motorcycle drag racing driver. The 25 year old Miami native began his driving career in AMA Prostar’s Super Gas (9.90 index) at the age of 14. After only 3 starts Ralph Jr. won his first race, turning 15 years old one month earlier. During the ‘96 season he held the #1 reaction time average with a .417 (.400 being perfect). One month after turning 16, while most kids are still waiting to get their learners permit. Ralph Jr had secured his 1996 championship, making him the youngest rider to win a Prostar national event and championship.
The 2006 season marks second generation racer, Medrano Jr’s rookie year in the Mirock’s professional class Outlaw Prostreet. Outlaw Prostreet, with only a 7” tire, no wheelie bars, elapse times close to a Pro Stock Motorcycle and MPH as fast as Pro Modified considered one of the sports harder classes to ride.
